Thank you voters of Dutchess County. We did it with your help!!

Congratulations to our new Republican Comptroller, Jim Coughlin and our Legislators representing the Town of LaGrange, Donna Bolner and Dale Borchert. What a great start to a new year. I wish all our newly elected officials the best of luck as they meet the challenges they will face each day.

To our town officials who all ran unopposed this year, keep up the good work. Your dedication and hard work is much appreciated and we look forward to another productive year. Although the election was a victory for Republicans in Dutchess County, we can't let down our guard. We need to continue to be diligent in our efforts to promote the Republican platform and ideals, remaining united behind the leadership in our town and county. At the same time we must focus our campaigns on issues that will move us in the right direction and enhance the quality of life we have all come to appreciate in Dutchess County.The past election gives us the enthusiasm and confidence to go forth with a renewed purpose in our vision for the future.

May the New Year also bring all of us a renewed sense of peace and prosperity.
