The Republican Committee has been working hard in preparation of our upcoming elections this November. We have endorsed a full slate of candidates for numerous offices. The candidates endorsed by the committee for LaGrange offices are:
Christine O'Reilly-Rao Town Clerk
Jane Sullivan Receiver of Taxes
Gary Polhemus Councilman
Mark Redl Councilman
Stephen O'Hare Town Justice
Ed Caplicki Town Justice
At the County level, the committee has endorsed:
Marc Molinaro for County Executive, Bradford Kendall for County Clerk, William Grady for District Attorney, Adrian "Butch" Anderson for Sheriff, Donna Bolner for County Legislator in District 13 and Dale Borchert for County Legislator in District 3.
If you are a registered Republican in LaGrange, a Committee member in your district will be stopping by in June for signatures on designating petitions for the above noted candidates who have been endorsed by the Republican Committee.
A sufficient number of signatures from enrolled Republicans are required in order for the candidate to appear on the Ballot Election Day this November. You as a registered Republican play a vital role in the process. Please become familiar with the list of endorsed candidates above and sign for them when your Committee Person stops by. No signatures can be collected prior to May 31st. Please do not sign any petitions prior to that date - your signature will not be valid.
Candidate bios will appear on this web site shortly so please check back to learn more about them. You will find that these candidates are very involved leaders in our community in addition to being fiscally conservative when it comes to all aspects of your tax dollars.
