Christine O’Reilly-Rao has been a resident of the town of LaGrange for 23 years.

Her educational background is in Communications Arts and Science with a Masters degree from Hofstra University.

She has extensive experience working with the public and strong interpersonal and administrative skills, having managed a surgical/medical practice for nearly 8 years.

Christine is a New York State Notary Public. She works as a substitute teacher for Wappingers Central Schools and volunteers as a second grade catechist at Blessed Kateri Parish in LaGrange.

Christine lives on Rita Lane with her husband Vittal.

Christine O'Reilly-Rao has served as the Town Clerk for LaGrange since 2008. She has utilized her extensive administrative and record keeping experience to provide the very best service to Town residents.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Implemented various procedures in order to comply with New York State archival               and record keeping guidelines as well as the Freedom of Information Law
Completely revamped and cataloged the entire Archival System electronically
Restored the archives of Town Board minutes by re-inserting missing supporting                documentation into the minute books

Christine continues to work to find new ways to optimally run the Clerk’s office and is committed to serving town residents to the best of her ability.

In her free time, she enjoys meditative yoga and volunteering as a catechist at Blessed Kateri R.C. Church. Christine and her husband, Vittal have lived on Rita Lane for 23 years.
